Keyboard shortcuts can increase our productivity. Below is a listing of all the major shortcut keys in Microsoft Word.

Shortcut Description
Ctrl + A Select all contents of the page.
 Ctrl + C  Copy selected text 
 Ctrl + F Open find box for search text.
 Ctrl + K  Insert a hyperlink
Ctrl + M Indent the paragraph
 Ctrl + N Opens new document window
 Ctrl + O  Opens a dialog box or page for selecting a file to open
 Ctrl + P Open the print window of current page
 Ctrl + R Aligns the line or selected text to the right of the screen
 Ctrl + S Save the document
 Ctrl + U Underline toggle of selected text
 Ctrl + V Paste
 Ctrl + W Close the currently open document
 Ctrl + X Cut the selected text
 Ctrl + Z Undo last action
 Ctrl + Y Redo the last action
 Ctrl + Shift + F Change the font
 Ctrl + Shift + >  Increase selected fonts In MS Word
 Ctrl + ] Increase selected fonts In MS Word
Ctrl + [ Decrease selected fonts In MS Word
 Shift + Alt + T Insert the current time In MS Word
 Shift + Enter Create a break instead of a new paragraph or Wrap text in same cell box.
